How to Choose Your Seat on Air Canada
Choose Your Seat During Booking
When you're booking your flight on Air Canada, you can choose your seat at the same time. Simply select the "Seat Selection" tab during the booking process and choose your preferred seat from the available options. You can filter your results by seat type, aisle or window preference, and more.
Choose Your Seat After Booking
If you didn't choose your seat during booking, you can still do so after you've completed your purchase. To select your seat after booking, go to the "My Bookings" tab on the Air Canada website and retrieve your booking. Then, click on the "Seat Selection" tab and choose your preferred seat.
Advance Seat Selection
Air Canada offers Advance Seat Selection for a fee. This service allows you to choose your seat up to 2 hours before your flight. To purchase Advance Seat Selection, go to the "My Bookings" tab on the Air Canada website and select your flight. Then, click on the "Seat Selection" tab and choose your preferred seat. The fee for Advance Seat Selection varies depending on the flight and seat type.
Automatic Seat Assignment
If you don't choose your seat in advance, Air Canada will automatically assign you a seat at check-in. If you're not happy with your assigned seat, you can request a different seat at the check-in counter or gate. However, there is no guarantee that you'll be able to get a different seat.
