The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-2 in Game 7 of their second-round playoff series on Tuesday night at Rogers Place.
The Oilers scored three goals in the second period to take a 3-1 lead, and they held on for the victory despite a late goal by the Canucks.
Leon Draisaitl led the way for the Oilers with two goals, including the game-winner. Evander Kane and Connor McDavid also scored for Edmonton.
Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser scored for the Canucks.
The Oilers will now advance to the Western Conference Finals, where they will face the Colorado Avalanche.
