Two dead in Boise County motorcycle crash
Highway 55 crash investigation underway
Deputies investigating fatal head-on collision with cement truck
BOISE COUNTY, Idaho - The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the two people killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 55 near Horseshoe Bend on Saturday.
The victims were identified as 32-year-old John Doe of Boise and 28-year-old Jane Doe of Eagle.
According to the Idaho State Police, the crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. when a motorcycle traveling westbound on Highway 55 crossed the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound cement truck.
Both occupants of the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the cement truck was not injured.
The Idaho State Police is investigating the crash.
