Head coach Tracey Kevins names 20 players for upcoming tournament

Sixteen players from the team's undefeated run at the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship included

CARSON, Calif. (March 23, 2023) - U.S. Under-20 Women's Youth National Team head coach Tracey Kevins has named a 20-player roster for the team's upcoming tournament.

The team will compete in the 2023 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica from August 10-28.

Sixteen of the 20 players on the roster were part of the team that went 7-0-0 with a 49-0 goal differential at the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in the Dominican Republic.

The team's roster includes:

  • Goalkeepers: Mia Justus (Williamsburg, Va.), Maureen Castro (Round Rock, Texas), Abigail Burris (Westlake Village, Calif.)
  • Defenders: Emily Gray (Gilbert, Ariz.), Nevaeh Lewis (Carson, Calif.), Talia Dellaperuta (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), Maya Doms (West Chester, Ohio), Ella Emri (Avon, Ind.), Sophia Smith (Brighton, Mich.), Kylie Gusick (Franklin, Tenn.)
